The Lady of the House

Coming from a long line of thrifters, vintage lovers, and dare I say hoarders, I have been brought up to see the beauty and appreciation in old things from an early age.

Things made by hand. Things that tell a story.

I remember being dragged to antique shops and being afraid to touch anything.

I remember being given $10 at a thrift store and scouring the aisles endlessly only to spend my money on random items like bars of soap so I could make them fancier with a bit of hot glue and some fake flowers.

It was art in the best self-expression I could muster at the ripe old age 7, and I guess it was then that my inner entrepreneur was awoken as I attempted to sell my handmade wares.

(Spoiler alert, I didn't sell any "fancy soaps.")

Although I first opened an online shop in 2009, it has had many reincarnations. However, the object is and will always stay the same— finding and savoring pieces of history.

I hope you're a kindred spirit and can come along with me as I explore.
